Hotel Cafe Ernst in Bernkastel-Kues

Unfortunately for me it was not a nice experience to sleep in the hotel. My room was spacious, but the bathroom was too small and the bed squealed with every movement. My colleague's room is too small, but the bathroom is bigger and the bed is just like mine. There is no suffering until 8am breakfast. Breakfast has very few choices.

Great cafe with homemade cakes and friendly service. The homemade cake tasted fantastic. The service was always friendly and courteous. The prices are absolutely in the price-performance ratio. at this time of year you can still sit outside. A friendly staff awaits you at the entrance who will assign you the seats. You have to disinfect your hands and are politely asked to leave your contact details. Under these circumstances, top service is currently available and you feel absolutely safe. I would love to come back

The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The room met our needs.

We have been in Café Ernst almost every day for 14 days. We haven't seen such a variety of delicious cakes in a long time. And all made by the owner himself. But we also noticed the friendliness and courtesy very pleasantly, and above all that we paid so much attention to the hygiene measures.

Nice to sit outside. Nice staff, lots of activity on Sundays. Since we only consumed iced coffee and beer, I can't comment on the cake or the price-performance ratio. The iced coffee was ok, but in a small glass.

Despite the current corona situation, the owners of the hotel coped with the situation perfectly. There is a very nice café integrated in the hotel with delicious, home-baked cakes and delicious coffee. The service is friendly, polite and competent. The breakfast was delicious and there was enough choice. The hotel rooms were very clean and modern. Therefore we can highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Despite all the corona measures and restrictions, we had a pleasant short vacation. You can only recommend this house.

Hotel with own cafe. The cafe is small but nice. A tall, high room that is bright and friendly. The cake offer can be more than impressive. The quality of the cakes and pies is simply ingenious, very first cream. It is made in your own bakery, everything is fresh and delicious. The service is friendly, competent and fix. You do not have to wait. The café offers views of the Mosel valley elevations. Here you can relax and unwind. The cafe is a real recommendation. If you come here, you also want to come back. The price-performance ratio is good. You get something for the money.

Clean, tidy. but certainly not a hotel appearance. Bad beds. Dark room, so under the roof tiles. Certainly no service and atmosphere. Kil. Cakes looked delicious on arrival, but no cake seen. If you want to sleep alone, it is "on a better bed". But don't expect anything else.

Very, very nice, exceptionaly clean rooms and a great cafe serving delicous food in a peacfull setting with woodland walks nearby. The owners (Jan Ernst) are extreemly friendly and accommadating and the breakfast delicious. 5 stars from me for sure.
